Happy Pride Month everyone!
I am so excited to announce that I will be opening for Albuquerque Pride 2023. It will be at Balloon Fiesta Park on June 10th. My set is at 3:30.
I will be joined by my good friend Rick Cormier on the drums, and Lucy Wang has graciously stepped in to play fiddle with us even amid the chaos of last minute scheduling. I’m normally the fiddle player in whatever band I’m in so it’s been so exciting to hear someone else fiddling to my tunes.
The set will be filled with pride songs written by me including some sing along anthems. It means so much for me to be on stage for a Pride Festival. I was raised with so much shame around my feelings around gender and sexuality, so watch out world, because I’m coming out strong to share these songs of hope and visibility!
